Ann Gottlieb is an experienced designer who creates beautiful and inviting spaces that make people feel welcome and inspired. She is skilled at understanding what people want for their spaces and bringing those dreams to life with careful attention to detail. Ann is well-respected in the design industry and has been featured in top magazines for her talent and expertise.

Ann is a skilled designer with 20 years of experience. She has created impressive spaces all over the world, including in South America, Asia, Europe, and throughout the United States. Ann spent 12 years at the respected design firm, Gensler, where she played a key role in establishing their hospitality studio in Seattle. Her clients included well-known organizations like The Washington Post, Rolls Royce, The Latham Hotel, and Marriott. Later, Ann took on the responsibility of retail design for Capital One Cafes. She oversaw projects such as the Capital One airport lounges and the flagship Capital One Cafe in Georgetown. Her work at the Georgetown location won the International Interior Design Association's Best in Retail award and was also recognized as the best in retail by Architect's Newspaper.

She is an expert at infusing her client’s personalities into spaces, creating livable luxury by turning artful form into function, and making physical design a memorable and delightful experience. An insatiable traveler, Ann is constantly scouring the world for trends and inspiration to bring the most unique and meaningful design to her work.
With a B.S. in Interior Design from Virginia Tech, Ann has acquired NCIDQ and LEED green building certification and is a licensed, Certified Interior Designer.
Outside of designing, you can find Ann cooking food from around the globe, running with Adrian Maurice from Peloton, and spending time with her husband, daughter, and assistant, Harry.
Holly Whitelaw
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Holly is our operations manager and has been the backbone of AGD since early 2021. She handles all project procurement, FF&E vendors, proposals, and day-to-day project and client needs.
She is from the mid-west and is the calm to any storm. Her background is in electrical contracting, as well as cosmetology.
In her spare time, she loves researching the latest beauty products and spending time with her husband and two dogs. She also has a much younger sister who looks like her identical twin!
Harry Potter
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Harry, our assistant and resident guardian, won’t be seen without a bow tie. He gives each aspect of our projects the “sniff test”, ensuring it meets the high bar our clients expect. If you come visit us, he will be the first to greet you at the front door. Fun fact: he was born on Valentines Day.

After living with blank walls for 2+ years, we knew we needed decorating help. I spoke with a few different designers before meeting Ann, and once I did, I knew she was the best by far. Ann is creative, intuitive, and responsive. She listened to our needs-- we wanted a beautiful aesthetic but had to make it work with our three young children. She incorporated our favorite colors and styles while pushing us just enough to make our room impressive.
