Mid-Century Modern for Today

A classic 1960s brick home, set in the forests of Fairfax, needed a major kitchen and dining overhaul to meet the needs of this modern design-loving family. The project required a complete gut and reorganization of all elements, including the exterior entry and window sizes. We removed load-bearing walls and replaced the entire MEP and electrical system to work with the most ideal layout, primed for major baking use!

Existing wood beams and custom cookbook shelving are some of the unique details that make this space incredible. Finishing touches of sisal wallpaper and green velvet drapery personalize this space to the client’s incredible taste and lifestyle.
